Books and Manuscripts

I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of supporting authors of autobiographies, short stories, nonfiction books, and novels. One manuscript I edited told the true story of an orphan who abandoned her own child at birth…only to reunite decades later. Although it was my client’s first attempt at writing a book, she got it published. Then her publisher bought at least two more books from her.

Another project I worked on was a quirky how-to book, based on the experiences of two retired DEA agents who should have been stand-up comedians. I also helped write a book for a fellow who opened his own chain of retail businesses while still in high school. He purchased a muscle car with the cash he saved. But he was too young to drive, so he basically leased it to someone older…and discovered a new way to bank profits. By age 21 he was a self-made millionaire.

Meanwhile, a publishing company asked me to summarize the classic novel Don Quixote. But they needed it in a format that would entertain children. Another publisher hired me to contribute to an anthology of travel stories. I was blown away when I got a copy of the book and realized that it also included a story by the famous author Susan Orlean, who wrote The Orchid Thief.

Maybe you’re famous, and maybe you’re not. But everyone has a great personal story to share. If you need a writer to help you tell yours, let me know.

Wonderful!
